some of my romantic date experiences:
* we had dinner in a restaurant by the bay with musicians playing violin, then we walk by the bay after just talking about life.
* we had dinner in a fancy restaurant with someone playing the piano then we walk on the road under the rain after dinner.
* we went out of town, ride a boat to see beautiful sceneries, got wet at the beach and lied back on the seashore watching the sunset.
* he invited me at his house and he cooked a special dinner for me (hotel style dishes). we ate dinner together, dance while jazz music was played.

romance?

the sun setting on a stretch of pearl white beach. everywhere there's a tinge of red. a large gnarled piece of tree is washed unto the shore.

i am there beside the dead piece of wood. watching the sun slowly transform the sky into gold. the sand all over my feet. i have nothing on but a shirt and beach shorts.

and then there she was... a sight to behold rivalling the gold of the setting sun. a vision of perfection in lace. walking towards me from the other side of the wood where i am sitting... the wind gently caressing her hair...

she smiles at me and takes my hand... and we walk down the beach, our feet wet with each wave... she is all smiles...

but i am happier.
