haha I don't think so kadlawon uy. but with the magnitude of people expected. It would be easier jud if the volunteers would be on site before the start of the event. ^_^

That's great! Yup! JCI Mandaue will be handling the certificates, just be sure to drop by and claim your certificate before you go home. ^_^ Btw, could you pm me and your colleagues' names and contact numbers? ^_^

it is sad to think that i already have a scheduled activity on that day...me and my group are into medical missions too for quite sometime na... mostly we go out to the outskirts of town, areas like minglanilla. just lately we facilitated a tree-planting activity in inayagan, naga last saturday together with PCAPI officials and some students...

if i have my time available i would like to be part of this kind of activities... i am also a qualified blood donor. in case you guys need one i am an A+.

to you guys who would like to extend your extra time and effort to help a fellow or assist an activity like such, please count yourselves in. it doesn't need one to be a medical practitioner to join medical missions or an agriculturist to do tree-planting, all you need is the heart to do it. but just to remind everybody that every activity has procedures to follow to please do coordinate to whose in charge in the field.

Any form of help is welcomed! ^_^ If you can donate blood during that day, that would be great! The last time we did the blood letting, there were a lot of donors but only a few were qualified. I do hope this year the turn out would be better compared to last year's. ^_^

What : Medical Mission

Where : Mandaue Sports Complex

The Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with JCI Mandaue, ABS CBN, the Generics Pharmacy, City of Mandaue, and the Kaabag foundation will be having a medical mission. We would like to invite you to volunteer and help out in this event. We are expecting 5,000 people who will be requiring medical assistance. If you have friends who are in the medical community, please do invite them also.

ACTIVITIES:
Eye Check-up (Consultations only)
Blood Letting (c/o ABS CBN)
General Check-up
Minor Surgery (c/o JCI Mandaue; Tuli for now)
Dental (c/o Kaabag Foundation)

We need help in these areas also:
Documentation (photos, videos, and other medias)
Crowd Control (registration)
Medicine Dispensing (pharmacists)

Blood letting is hosted by ABS CBN. We do really need people to donate blood. Mao jud ni ang priority for the committee karon. If you know people who have successfully donated blood before, please do tell them about this medical mission. Their help would be really appreciated.

i received a text message from Mr. Yu of JCI mandaue this morning.. volunteers will meet at the site at 6:30AM.. wear jeans and white shirt (please bring extra shirt)... for volunteers sa medical field, bring your BP ap, stethoscope, upper scrub suit and ballpen.
