i wonder if this are really SWAT if i look at it, it looks like they are just ordinary cops, uniform nalan daan, here in cebu, our SWAT wear black uniform and carry CQB rifles for close combat and complete equipments.

in the report and pictures, they are using long arms and pistols which is not the right issue for such situation.

exactly sir. i can't even call what they did as an ASSAULT because they just ducked there most of the time. and to those who are saying that we are not in their shoes, it is expected that an elite force (SWAT guys are included), shouldnt be afraid of shootouts or even to die. military professionalism (which can also be applied to policemen) states that:

to a law of perpetual constraints
of their own accord.

They resist their right
to live where they choose,
to say what they think,
to dress as they like.

It needs but an order
to settle them from their families
and dislocate their normal lives.

It' a very big BOOOOOOO for our PNP... Dili man pud tanan police pol-pol pero we are talking about the hostage taking that happened yesterday and as far as the whole wide world has seen it, it's very obvious that our PNP or particularly the guys that were handling it was and is very INCOMPETENT..There are rules of engagement that are supposedly followed in every hostage taking situation but those guys were stupid or ignorant enough to violate some..

Napay simple kaayo nga example sa ilang ka pol-pol ay: Nag gamit ug Tear Gas unya wala pud magdala ug kaugalingong Gas MAsk..mas maayo pang bombero.. BOOOOOOOOO naa pa kuno'y migamit ug FACE Mask paka-uway lang, unsa mo trabahante Operating Room o Embalsamador,, mas maayo pang mga rallyista ka kama-o pa mo gamit ug mga improvised mask.. BOOOOOO
