@Gwyn, that's probably why I usually complain about their discussions haha innocent me. My husband is a Republican and he watches Channel 360 everyday, I think that's why I never heard of Bush being simple-minded or ever harshly criticized. Insulting democrats is an everyday amusement in FOX, no wonder why Kerry did not attend O`Rielley's invitation before election, si Bush ra ni adto.

N'gel, I am a Republican too i was once a Democrat during the Clinton/Gore administration. I like the Republican's approach to conservatism specially where it involves my hard earned income. Its something I can count on for the long term and not wishy washy spending.

Bush persona actually he looks good for a President, of course not as wafo and charming as Clinton and Gore specially but i like Mr. Bush' eyes the more older conservative americans are mostly Republican and of course if you are the conservative type like myself, especially on issues that affects me as an American, i trust Bush and his Republican stand.

streetcar...i respect your preference sis...kay lain lain man ug perspective nga makita....naa lang ko gamay nga comment base sa imong post....about how they handle your hard earned income...

America right now has 8.5 trillion federal debt...this is the largest in history and right now is the biggest debtor nation in the world...The National Debt has continued to increase an average of $1.75 billion per day since September 30, 2005!

when you said you agree to the Republicans strategy...are you talking about the tax cuts? I assume you are....

In selling his $1.6 trillion tax cut-half of which went to the wealthiest 1% of Americans, Bush promised in 2001 that it would produce 800,000 new jobs. In fact, the economy has lost 2.7 million jobs since Bush took office, again, the worst economic performance since the Great Depression.

Bush inherited from Clinton a fiscal surplus of $127 billion. In his first year he turned that into a deficit of $158 billion. Never mind the result of the succeeding years because 9/11 happened and other factors went into it.

sis ang nabulahan sa tax cuts ang mga super dato lang...ang average americans...naka refund lang ug a couple hundred dollars....nya ang economy nag suffer na jud....

ako lang sad na take ha....

Hi Gwyn, Republicans are always favored by the rich people in America. They are taxed less but they move the economy in bigger ways.. I like his stand on social security that if you work hard and you put money into the Social security system, you will not retire into poverty. I for one, a government employee favor that because retirement income is important to me and I pay in and contribute to social security. He might have inherited surplus funds from the Clinton administration but its understandable how that turned out to be a deficit with all the problems he faced during his term in office not only the Iraq conflict but also hurricane disasters and the likes including national defense spending, terrorism and intelligence. I believe he handled those issues well which is what a President would have done anyway if it happened during his term in office. Its unavoidable and you are right those were big factors that affected this administration. The Democrats avoid war at all cost and Clinton had totally avoided touching international foreign policies during his administration and focused more on the short-term economic issues in the homefront. I think the economy and labor market is bouncing back and nothing close to a depression era at all. Republicans safeguard the money of the working class much more conservatively but we are talking long term benefits for Americans. I think Republicans view these things on a much more broader scale and perspective.

regarding Media, for sure they are very much biased. That includes Time Magazine, Newsweek, etc. and our local papers. You will somehow notice and note right away who's platform they're trying to sell just by reading them.

sis....since i am on the opposite side...naa ko daghan counter sa imong post...he he he...pero dili na lang tani taason kay as i said we see different perspective man...careful lang...i could be right diba? kon ikaw insakto way blema kay daghan ta cuarta later...what if ako insakto...ka dakong pordoy sa amerika...na buhi sa utang...by the way simplify yon tani para sayon2 sabton sad sa uban nato forumers...average credit card nga utang per household is 8,000 USD....

anyway on your saying we are far from depression situation...let me inform you during that time the total credit market debt as a share of US gross domestic product was at 287%....currently sis it is at 304% ...it is a miracle how it is holding on...i do not want to be such a bearer of bad news ...pero mao na ang tinuod...

oh by the way...bush spent all of clinton's surplus and had deficit...on his first year...even before 9/11 and everything...mao ako to gi stress nga never mind the suceeding years...kay naa man kintahay siya gi gastohan....kong si tolstoi pay pa sultihon bahin sa gubat sa iraq..."nganong ni enter"...he he he
