sus my gulay. unsa ma na. the head/ face looks like a demon to me. Interesting someone would actually buy that on Ebay but knowing Ebay of course, its a marketplace for everything. But whoever won that, i wonder what they're going to do with it. thanks for sharing. That's interesting. Never seen one like that in pictures.

The idea of this creature having mutated because of some crazy expirement is not a bad theory at all...
and about the rusalka, when I got this pictures, it was titled so... so I bet it came from Slavic people who entertained such notions.

One thing I know though, I feel bad about these creatures. I mean, put yourself in their shoes (or fins for that matter)..

i personally believe in the existence of some mythological creatures...but this alleged pic of a merman is a hoax. i looked at the origin of the pic...the one who's selling the carcass in ebay is called "seamystery" and he has got other items for sale which are mysterious in nature but are obviously fabricated...fine works of an excellent craftsman. see and discover for yourself why i said it's a definite hoax thru this link: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZseamystery

one of his items, the so called "feejee mermaid" is actually combined torso of a monkey and tail of a fish. he himself admitted it in his post. the other is a human faced fish which is obviously fabricated. if this is the case, how can we believe his claim that the dead merman he found is authentic...and not just a work of art he dragged to this mangrove area

the creature, though very convincing has got one major flaw in it's anatomy that screams "hoax"...the tail. the arrangement...the dorsal fin which is supposed to be located on its back is located on its right side. it's not even balanced by not having a similar fin on its left side.

if tinuod na nga nakit-an ngano wa man nagubot ang tibuok kalibutan ana, imagine if naa makita na creature like that here in Cebu... i think feature dayun National Geographic, BBC, CNN, ug mga local news... tsk tsk tsk.... i'm not buyin' that story... my late lolo felix (brother-in-law sa akong lola) told me na sa daplin pa sila sa dagat nagpuyo, every morning daw sa mangrove area makadungog cla mga baye ug mga bata magkanta2x...seems like naay mag picnic didto kada buntag... tapos there was one time daw wa kapugong akong lolo ug iyang son.. uncle wilson na namatay kay nalumos sab sa dagat ila giduol ang pagatpatan... but 1 meter away from the mangrove area mga splashes of water na lang ila nadunggan... then nawala na ang mga voices...

then 1 time paingon sab c lolo sa lawod, naay nakita akong lolo nga baye ug bata nga naglingkod sa bato seems like waiting for the high tide... tapos to his surprise niambak sa dagat ang baye ug ang bata... he thought naglangoy-langoy ra to cla pero wa jud cya kakita nga naay nitunga after pila ka-minutes...

well years later ni-transfer cla sa town center... stop na ug fishing2x akong lolo...

"naa daw party ang mga nilalang sa dagat,gihulaman nila si Wilson but because you disturbed them di na mabalik cya mabalik buhi. ugma alas 6:00 sa pagatpatan naa c Wilson didto naghuwat ninyo."
