mao na ang SG (seal & Glaze) sir. once every quarter ra ka moapply. it acts like a seatcover nga kung hugaw na, pwede nimo sya matangtang and apply nasad. ang nindot sa SG kay pwede nimo maaply ug pila ka'coats and every coat mo add ug depth sa color (except sa white ).

nice ang zaino boss...read some reviews pero more on polisher/machine process man ang gamit nila sa zaino...most of them mao ni ila masulti and daghan pud ni agree

    zaino vs meguiars vs mothers:

    - If you put all three products on three cars side by side you would see that they all look great and very hard to tell what product is on what car. But line them up a couple of months down the road and you will see the shine is much greater on the zaino car.

    - Almost any decent wax is going to put a good shine on right after you wax, so it is kind of dumb to test after application.

    - Alot of people here wax every couple of weeks so it isn't much of a issue, but if you can't, I think it is something you should consider.

    - There are other threads on this board, from the last few days, by people (includng me) who have come to the exact opposite conclusion. On black cars, the polymers(zaino) aren't worth the trouble, and the carnauba finishes look better.

so cge man ta trapo sa atong duwaan boss na halos taga adlaw...so ok ra cguro mag QD nalang permi kay sinaw man gihapon, hehehe

waxing alone does not do anything, except 'bake' the dirt in your car. here are some tips to d-i-y shine your car:

    1. wash your car well - use clean water, use a decent car shampoo (microtex, eagle one, etc.), basta ayaw lang ang strong detergent like liquid dishwashing soap, tide, etc. and most importantly, use good microfiber wash cloths. microtex is also good because it has a color system, para dili masagol ang pag gamit. we use the washmitt for shampooing, the california jelly blade to fast dry, the elite to follow-thru dry & chamois to final dry. ug wa kay wash mitt, palit ug red nga microtex to shampoo. make sure nga ang dirt from washing does not go up, so put some sort of "screen" sa balde sa shampoo.

    2. clean & prep your paint - invest in a clay bar, ug wala or walay budget, save your money to buy one soon, but a clay bar is important. if paint is dull, hand-rub with a soft compound like 3M. if your surface is ok, skip the compound and next use a good polish/paint cleaner - 3M, Meguiars or Mothers is ok, as you'll only do this hopefully every 3 mos. do a good rub, and the paint should then come out clean. next, use a hand glaze, as this will bring the color back, and will make dark colors "deeper". 3m has a good hand glaze, and dili mahal if you get the sachet. you will also only have to do this once every 3 mos.

    3. use good wax to finish off - buy a good carnauba wax (meguiars) if you want a nice soft gloss, but this will not last beyond 2 weeks. synthetic waxes are ok (3M) for commercial use, but nano-tech waxes (eagle one, microtex) are acceptable "prosumer" waxes, as they bridge the gap between gloss & protection, kay mas dugay ni mo fade. to keep the shine longer, you can buy "sealants" from meguiars or the acrylic-type (like carlack). don't mix your cloths, and use a clean microfiber to final buff (green microtex is best).

the chemicals are only as good as the technique. kapuy lang gyud mo pasinaw ug auto, but thats what turns heads and make us proud of our cars. its good exercise also. pero kung kapuyan ka, find a good detail shop and get your car paint "fixed" by a professional.

i think it is important na maklaro ang difference sa mga chemicals used to "shine" a car. i used to think that mag wax lang ko if it would be a sunny day or week. in fact, waxing your car on rainy days improves paint protection.

compounds aggressively "cut" into the paint surface, kay it is made up chemical abrasives. polish is a very fine "abrasive" and the action it does is similar to the compound, but with less aggressive chemicals, and it's already mixed with some softeners. the REAL glaze, does not have any abrasives, but instead have chemicals & binders to bring out the shine. ug mag butang ka ug pure glaze, makita nimo that the shine will come out, but medyo "hagkot" ang paint surface. that's why you have to wax after glazing, because wax "coats" the paint (or at least the pro waxes would) and that coating is what provides protection. for those who can afford it, sealing is the next level, but the cost, as well as the application technique, is also not very simple. kana mga consumer waxes are actually petrol-based blends that have the ability to clean/polish(cut)/wax all at the same time. ug sa sounds pa na, usa ra ka speaker para sa lo-mid-hi, and it will never give the best results. mao sad na nga dili adviseable mag wax often if you use the "consumer" products, because petrol is what cuts your paint surface.

professional detail shops use "pro" chemicals, and thats the reason why it is possible to have a shiny car everyday. so why do not many people use "pro" chemicals? kay these are sold in GALLONS and they're quite expensive, and these are hardly available. locally available prosumers brands like Meguiars NXT, Mothers FX, 3M, EagleOne (and more recently Microtex) are good for most of us who like to do "d-i-y" work, but its not the best. there are US and European brands, some of them very expensive, and are the only ones that pass the standards by detailers of the prestigious Concours d'Elegance car shows. some of the guys from the manila car shows have imported these chemicals, so don't wonder why their cars shine so much differently. do keep in mind lang, that it means you'll need to invest in chemicals that you may not use up in a year.

again, beyond the chemicals you use, it's equally important that you know the tehniques. if bata pa ka ug daghan pa ka ug oras & energy (although dili man sad ko tiguwang), mas lignaw nga ikaw mo detail sa imu sakyanan. for those who have the car, the money, but not the time, find a good detail shop

i agree with you sir. there are better brands out there but the problem is, they are sold in gallons. lisod man sad kaayo nga mopalit ta ug ginallon for personal use only. mixing with one product to another will also achieve nice results. so dont stick to one brand only. as for my car (white), clay every 3 months, Klasse AIO and P21s combo every week. i stop using SG coz i get better results w/o it. SG are great on dark colored paint IMO.
