cant forget it. 13 years ago, i think. Second Grade, Edith Hamilton's Mythology. I had someone explain the terms to me though.

I think it was a Reader's Digest Condensed Book I can't recall which volume. I was in 2nd grade as well. I collected them at that age alongside my National Geo mags. Earlier than that I was drawn to Animal books. I've always loved animals. I even went vegan for a short while.

Mine was Life, Works and Writings of Dr. Jose Rizal I was 5 years old then ...
Read it before I knew Cinderella and the likes existed

the first novel i ever read was charlotte's web. i think grade 4 pko ato, and nkanumdum judko i skipped lunch kai i was so engrossed in the book!

that was when i realized there are so many other worlds out there waiting for me.. and these worlds are in books. since then, my nose was always stuck within the pages of a book! hehehe

im no fan of the sweet valley high series...
i always go for hardy boys and nancy drew way back in grade 6

Papillon by Henri Charriere.Was really proud of myself as it was a rather thick book and i was only 11 year old.
