I know one ICAFE in lapu-lapu that was also victimized using same modus operandi, They usually operate early in the morning, kanang attendant lang ang mag open sa cafe. Three persons entered the cafe and pretended to be from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and told the attendant that they will check the PCs for any firehazard blah-blah. The culprits were even wearing rubber gloves (parang tunay kung tingnan) then before the attendant knew, the memory of the inspected pcs were inside the rubber gloves. When the attendant turned on the PCs after the inspection kuno, all she heard are error beeps. RAMs gone.

dli man tngali bro kay nka lukat ra man ug permit ako amigo, murag union lang tngali na sa mga cafe owners dri sa cebu, P500.00 ang membership per year. cool man sad para uniform kaau ang rates sa rent sa pc.

P500?! i think its P3,000 yearly if im not mistaken. and fyi, there was no price ceiling implemented when i talked to a personnel from them so that is why almost all internet cafes now have a crazy rate of P10 per hour. to the pioneers of this rate, they should have pictured, realized, and analyzed first what would be the output as time shall pass. maybe soon this could reach to P5 per hour or even P3 per hour, better sell saging minantika-an nalang which has very least maintenance costs.

i heard bout this incident bro, i thought it was an inside job because the owner of this cafe is my aunt's friend. she said that it was taken by a walk in technician, im not sure if this cafe you you mentioned is the same with what im talking about. thats why im posting this one here to make istoryans aware of these vicious evils.
