i for one dont believe in reincarnation, but it is anything but a joke. The concept is quite deep. St. Augustine even proposed an almost similar concept of reincarnation, its called metempsychosis. Both concepts believes in the transmigration of the Soul, though they have great similariities they are not all the same.

I think it's not a joke becuase there is a relegion that believes in it..Maybe some religions doesn't believe in it because it wasn't taught by their own church leaders.Reincarnation has its own standpoint and it should not be labeled as a joke..for me lang ha Reincarnation is the state where in theology it was called purgatory where in humans continually dwell backn'fort. until we achieve heaven state by doing good deeds by following the dharma path or the path of Jesus..when heaven state is achieve reincarnation will stop and forever you will dwell in heaven with full of bliss.

well how can you repent if you reincarnated inside a cow .

i also dont believe in their so called eye opener. if you do exercises for their eye opener, it will make your brain believe that the thing is real. in return, your brain will fool you coz you forced your brain to do what is written in a book. the brain is very powerful but it could be fooled and will make you believe in things that are not real

i think originally, from the Orthodox Schools of Hinduism, believed that you could get reincarnated only as a human being only this time with a different condition and a different time.

i think the belief of being reincarnated as another being, a cow or an amoeba for example is a newer strain of Hinduism, what do you do to have a better reincarnation in the next life that is if you a cow or an amoeba.... you have to be a "good" cow or a "good" amoeba, the latter being a bit ridiculous.

My religion is Roman Catholic.... Though reincarnation is not favored in it, I have a strong inclination that I'm a product of reincarnation. There were NEW places I've been to that I could swear I had been there in my past life... Also, there are instances these days when a a view or object strongly reminds me of an enigmatic past. It doesn't matter where I am or who I'm with. At times, the view or object is in a noisy and/or crowdy environment... It unintentionally catches my attention.. when that happens, everything around me is in total silence..I feel alone and exploring the abyss... I begin to recall of a past.... but I can't see the whole picture of it... I can't comprehend the details.. I'm distracted if a friend calls my attention or touches me..... Have you experienced those things before?

gi ilad ra ka sa imong memory ana nga expierences. kay i dont think any soul from the past maybe 40yrs ago can recognize a place today because almost everything has changed. some places dont have any resemblance to what it looked 40yrs ago.

how can u explain a naturally borned wealthy or poor people? beatutiful and ugly faces,
healthy and sick(inborn)..Reincarnation is always associated with actions that was done from a previous life either good or bad and that is (Karma)...u do good stuff, you work hard big chance u'll become wealthy, healthy and happy..u do bad stuff in effect your next life would be bad.

naturaly borned wealthy and poor people are formed out of luck. ugly and beautiful faces are born out of heredity. but sometimes, ugly couples produce beautiful offspring because out of the millions sperms, there maybe a beautiful gene that may look different from the father. same goes to the health of the offspring. once you die, there's no turning back either you go to heaven or hell. belief in reincarnation just produces terrorists because these suicide bombers believe that they will reincarnate to with a good life once they die with what they are fighting for.

in physical science everything is not in a form out of luck (tsamba2x), in every action there should always be a reaction, ok yes heredity is true for physical appearance but what about life.belief in reincarnation reminds of everyone what they have done in the past, and it gave them a space of repentance not with hopeless ending that once commited a tremendous sin would mean no more heaven..brother terrorism is another story pls don't accused or relate terrorism into other's belief, terrorism doesn't associate with any relegion it is a political struggle and a selfish interest...
if my belief of reincarnation is wrong then what is heaven purgatory and hell after life? why does human life continues to live? is there realy a specific date of judgement day that some relegions believe the second coming of Jesus? would you beleive if someone would claim I am Jesus and this is the second coming? if Jesus would realy comeback in flesh form then it is clearly understood that the appearance of the second coming is a form of reincarnation because Jesus dissapears from the sights of his beleivers.
