its a vicious cycle. first thing is to eliminate them, then the next crucial thing to do is change the system, and third is educate the people.
usa man pud ta sa nka contribute sa ilang pagka hakug.

I didn't say to kill them all. I said the only solution is execution, which as far as I know is sanctioned by our very own Revised Penal Code as passed by the legislators themselves, hence to say that execution is the only solution is merely to reflect the legislative will and the law of the land. The mere fact that death sentences are suspended, does not mean that there is no longer a death penalty in this country, nor does it mean that the vast majority of Filipino people are against the death penalty. It simply means that our current President is a coward who cannot implement laws because she herself violates them and is fearful that one day she may end up on the chopping block.
But who are we kidding, there never will be any executions of corrupt officials here. We have proven time and time again since the Spanish period how cowardly we are as a people that we are not willing to take the steps necessary to clean up the mess that we have created. Corruption is never going to go away, instead of complaining about it, perhaps we must just learn to live with it right? If you don't like that, then perhaps you should consider that execution really is the only solution! Jail is not enough as their continued existence will pose a continuing threat to anyone responsible for their jailing... I mean look at the Ampatuans and tell me honestly that the witnesses now are not soiling themselves at the thought that they could die at any time. If on the other hand we executed the entire Ampatuan clan, then this problem would not exist...
