yup, TSEK ka katrina and Gareb, china now is ran by a revisionist. Me thinks, the people who are currently running china wants china to be a semi capitalist country... a contradiction to the china envisioned after the chinese revolution. --> my opinion lang ha? PEACE!

question: what is it bout communism, revolution, propaganda and this country? what do we get out of the first three? with the way my college history professor discussed philippine history, i realized that we never redeemed victorious in our quest for truth and fight for reforms.

okey, so you meant the communists. okey.

Based on history, you cannot really assume or generalize even that all of "they" are shallow in terms of understanding and analyzing Marx's Theories. Have you heard of the 2nd rectification movement in the Central Committe of the CPP. I have read it somewhere in their site. It was in th3 early to mid 1980s when Philippines was in a chaotic disposition.

The Communist Party of the Phil admitted to have done wrong to fellow men thus the 2nd Great Rectification movement occured from there the group was divided into two: the reaffirmist and rejectionists. Reaffirmist are referred to as the people who have seen the flaw, rectified it and continued to serve as NPA, and then there is the RPAs, or revolutionary proletarian army, who also saw the flaw, but wish nothing to do more with the movement.

With these turn of events, we cannot say that Filipino communists are shallow. They may remold some of MArx's Lenin's and Mao's theories but that is for the latter to adapt to the ever-changing conditions of the present society.
