no. it doesnt. for modelling agencies and for tv commercials, for the movies, looks matter much. but when you talk about companionship, for a partner...nah. not an iota. for me at least.
i thought i would really be lucky to be with this cute guy--think fil am...tall, lanky, easy smile, warm brown eyes (ano ba yun... ) i had his crush on him.he was sweet. but when you talked. he spouted jokes from a tagalog comedy flick. i have nothing against tagalog movies. it was the agony of trying to laugh at the rip off punchlines as if it was the first time i ever heard them that killed me. And he was so vain, looks at every shiny object to check his face or move his hair this way or that. And he behaved as if. every girl was just dying to be with him. including me.
i dont know. in the long run, looks fall by the wayside. character and what's inside your head (pati heart xempre) wil ultimately weather the final analysis.
and that's totally coming from the heart!

maybe it really does matter ... labi na teenager pa au ta or na.a pata sa 20's ... nica au i-uyab og gwapa og gwapo para ing-non sad ta ba nga "ah swertiha dah!" hmmm i used to think that way i get attracted sa pag-ka gwapo sa guy... but as i grew up and became mature i learned to look through people... as for now batasan jud ako apason sa guy... gamay ra na percentage ang looks...

he may not be the Tom cruise that every girl would drool on , but he is the guy that loves me , is faithful to me... respects me and is responsible in life ...takes good care of me and would be there to hang on with me and give me strength as we trek on the road of relationship... that is what i call a MAN worth loving...

physical attributes doesn't count that much for me. i don't give an amount of attention of how he looks like. what matters fo me is his brain value followed by his attitudes then. but spare me of crossed-eyed people or fo those handicapped people ha.
