globe broadband woes

Nag testing ko karon sa globe dsl sa akong kaila, kusog kaayo ilang 384k, im getting an avg of 36Kb/s~44kb/s sa torrent downloads.

I have a problem with themodem ADSL SPEEDTOUCH 330 that was issued to me; the modem would reset once every hour, this has been going on for 2 weeks. I called the customer care and they said that it is better to reboot the pc and transfer to another USB port. It worked for an hour but the problem persisted.

I called them to request for a replacement and yet no replies since then. Suggestions anyone?

Same as mine bro, they replaced my Prolink modem router the next day, USB diay imo gamit? dili ang LAN port? since ila gi ilisan ang modem router ug Prolink gihapon ok na ok download torrent full speed while doing GW hehehe

usually mao gyod na ila first aid sa ila costumers bro kung manawag ka and ang ka deperensya man gud sa Globe og sa PLDT kay kung residential DSL imo application ang ipadala sa globe na modem kay kanang usb type ( Speedtouch 330 ) pero kung sa PLDT ang ipadala nila na modem kay katong RJ45 type.

subs ko ug GLBB TRADER(1.5Mbps) Prolink modem, sa first month rko ngkaproblema about connection, kadabuntag jud to nga kalbaryo, naa koi connection pero dili ko mka browse, sus config ra diai..... thanks GOD sa ilaha nga tech support nga very accomodating kaau,,,,, wala gani to mapasnacks nko...... hehheehehe so far so GOOD.....buyag kaau ang dagan sa connection ug hopefully buyag sad ang dagan sa amoang internetan.........GOD is Good.....

for immidiate help or assistance on GLBB concern (tech support dispatching) dial hotline "175" sempre using Globelines......

about sa imo modem cio, if at once no replies for the said request dont hesitate to bring along w/ you the modem adto sa Innove Communications building 15th or 16th floor accross keppel bldg, dalha nang imoha modem suggest for a replacement.... LOOK for Sir Dong givs, a manager for tech'l group......






PLDT.....

disadvantage ---- on their DSL is that their switches are DFA(Direct Feed Area) meaning imong DATA copper ang giagian gikan sa imoha telepono hangtud sa PLDT switch dili FOC, unsaon nalang if tua kas Lacion or LiLo-an hinay jud, Mandaue pa gud ang Host ana nila? therefore naa jud deperensya, isa pa mahal ang subscription nila itandi sa GLBB

advantage --- okey ra ug duol ka sa Jones host(exchange) or other hosts nila

GLobelines is also using copper cables to their Telephone lines but at a radius of 1km max distance from their cabinet called HRISLU, at least minimize ang cable loses coz after sa ilaha cabinet(HRISLU) FOC(Fiber Optic Cable) naman padung sa HOST didto sa Lahug, sample: if I am in Santander, Cebu still I can get my 1.5Mbps connection, nia barato pa.....Thanks GOD ......


Mao ra man nga equipment gamit nila(Alcatel / Ericsson / Siemens)...to name a few.....


SMART WI-FI at least max of 200kbps plus rka ana but not to the fullest pa jud.....

What About sa Rellocation if mobalhin ang subscriber ug place? Pila ang mabayran ug unsa kadugay napod itaod? ang place sa kong friend kay lahug nya transfer siya san antonio village(apas). Do you think nay possibility na mohinay iyang connection after transferring sa iyang new place?

yeps bro depende ra na sa contractor kung unsa iya ita-od sa inyoha ako btaw residential man ko ako lng ghangyo ang contractor na pde ba kato lang RJ45 ako ipata-od pero kung wala lng kay imek inig ta-od ang usb lang ila ita-0d.

yeps bro depende ra na sa contractor kung unsa iya ita-od sa inyoha ako btaw residential man ko ako lng ghangyo ang contractor na pde ba kato lang RJ45 ako ipata-od pero kung wala lng kay imek inig ta-od ang usb lang ila ita-0d.

nag ilis na sila ug protocol dili na PPPoA ilang gi use PPPoE LLC na like PLDT ilang gi gamit so that means pwede na nako i hook up sa akong linux router that uses PPPoE to do load balance and demand connect :mrgreen: so for those nga na hibong why cannot connect change the settings to PPPoE LLC then maka connect nasab mo again
