i love paintings by local artists like andrew barba.
also those by jackson pollock and monet. and i simply adore michaelangelo.

my dad's painting - fred galan.. he he he! proud ku aku papa!!! :mrgreen:
when i paint, i go for seascape, or flowers.. my fave medium, watercolor. dunno other mediums.

Mga muta paintings.
There are three kinds of paintings.
1. Linear
2. Painterly
3. Muta
One particular muta artist is Louie Quino.
When ur an artist, you can start out with linear quality, and if you have mastered tonal value and shading you can conceal the outlines with the painterly technique...
basically Louie Quino in ayala is a painterly artist pero grabe na kaau ka detailed iyang painting maklaro nang muta sa iyang mga gipang portrait

Guys! Naai exhibit sa ground floor sa ayala, right in front of the entertainment center!
There's this beautiful painting of fishermen doing their thang at night the scene is illuminated by moonlight...
There's also this other painting he has with a "warm" afternoon atmosphere to it depicting a street scene with tartanillas.
but the same guy paints pictures of Santo Nino and Our Lady of Guadalupe, i have utter disdain for those 2 deities, so i think the artist is contaminated by wormwood.
(no, NOT wormwood the fellow istoryan here)

Im really intrigue by the LAST SUPPER painting of Leonardo Da Vinci...it all started after reading the book Da Vinci's Code and the stupedity that the one portrayed at the right side of CHRIST was actually madonna!...damned leo..eyy

All of Fred Galan's watercolors --- Mr. Galan is the father of Katski here --- and every one of his oils.
I've seen some Vincent Van Gogh originals at MOMA in New York City. Frankly, I would still prefer the idylls of Fred Galan. I have 4 monster pieces by him.
