Affection of blood relatives is an absurd mentality. I do agree that both of them had roles to play with regards to the responsibility for the act, but there are two things I abhor:

1. Blaming when the event has already happened. Past is past and you know that. Perhaps you just cannot escape from that "last" syndrome. Wake up. There is always a tomorrow.

2. Affection of blood relatives. Events are events. Plainly simple. Law is not subject to change just because of a relative. Judgements should not be biased just because some familiar fellow is involved. This makes things heated up.
