@annais, playing stock market really needs patience and time, that is why ever other day i am doing my best to read the newspaper, watch the news. If you don't have time then you might as well not invest on the stock market. This is an investment not a business. Time is an essential ingredient in this kind of game.
brokers do recommend "buy" or "sell" stocks, BUT with no QUARANTY that you make money. "Success in stock market lies in better understanding, your own personal thinking and full knowledge of how your mental processes work when you make a market decision."--- as one adviser quotes.
you may listen to what others say, but in the final stage, it is onlyYOU who make the final decision on "WHEN" and "WHAT" to buy.
@harrykevin
wala ko kasabot. dude, you will have to create your trading account. also, i'm still thinking about investing sa PSE. i intend to exercise my rights to stock options man gud. cge lang... everyone here, myself included, will help you throughout the process until you make your first investment... how's that? in the meantime, do your homework. mas maayo ra jud magparticipate if you know the basic.

i agree with most of the things you've said here... in fact, i was nodding the whole time i was reading your post. i would just like to clarify that playing in the stock market and doing business are all investments. you are doing that for profit, if not just a means of livelihood. oh well... there are so many kinds of brokers. you will just have to pick the kind that will suit you best and that will be very convenient for you. an online broker is not for me but it doesn't change the fact that they just work as your middlemen and not as your decision-makers.
@annais, thanx a lot bai. Just gives us information when you'll start investing, who's the broker and how much capital, okey?
@annais, well, everyone has his own freedom, if that suits you best, then i hope you will be successful with that. I am just helping and i know you are too, so thank you for your time.
unsa may debate dire?
@harrykevin
dude, will PM pag ready na. we're eyeing Philippine Equity Partners (dating Merill Lynch). my friends and i intend to get san miguel shares since kung tanawon nimo ang iyang trend, it's among the very few na stable. it's not ethical to post these things here... basta i-PM nya tika.
@boylabo_17
thank you for sharing your thoughts on online brokers too, dude! it's always nice to have options. i wish you well sa imong investment.

i usually go for 2nd and 3rd liners coz ang appetite naku for risk is medyo dugay man ang gamay ra man ang akong investment....
