btw, guys is it true na mas dako ug screen size ang LCD monitors kontra crt's? ( example: a 17" crt vs. 17" lcd monitor not widescreen)

im still using crt pa man gud mao ni wala kaayo ko idea ani...

mao ra man siguro kay pareha ra man sila 17"..

para nako.gnahan kg standard ratio.. depende sa gamit..if hilig kag movies or dvd which is widescreen
na, go for widescreen lcd..if pang office ra etc. widescreen sad ko..pero pang games mprefer kog normal
ratio 4:3.. samut 21inch or 19inch nice na kaayo na..kay if 16:9 naa uban games d kasupport ana nga ratio
but comfortable jd ko 4:3 ratio for gaming.mau rana akoa suggestion

YES. CRT monitors include the bezel when measuring the size. you'll notice that aside from the size there is a "viewable area" specification which is the actual CRT tube size. LCD monitors are measured by the actual LCD size which is also the viewable area - does not include the plastic bezels around it.

In short, you will have a larger viewing area on a 17" LCD compared to a 17" CRT monitor.
