gensan is relatively safer than metro manila and cebu in terms of snatchers, tulisan, kawatan and mangingilads.

gensan is one the best cities in the philippines in terms of urban planning. the others are bacolod, davao and tagum cities. makati ug olongapo pud diay.

thanks for the replies but sorry i do not understand Bisaya so i wasn't able to catch some phrases.

anyone from GenSan here? I would like to ask how far is the airport from the city and what are the available mode of transpo I can take. I have the ff rough draft itinerary in mind:

Day 1 Sun - 7am arrival / from the airport go directly to Gumasa Beach -- still need to know how to get here
Day 2 Mon - check out from Isla Jardin and go to Lake Sebu
Day 3 Tue - check out from Punta Isla and go back to Gen San for pasalubong shopping
Day 4 Wed - 7am flight back to Manila

Also, I am planning to fill my 15kg check in baggage allowance with lots of tuna for pasalubong. Any recommendations on where can I buy some before my flight?

    Hello...

Dili ka kasabot ug bisaya? Tagalog ka?

Medyo mahihirapan ka kung ikaw lang mag.isa sa itirenary mo.
Day 1 Sun - 7am arrival / from the airport go directly to Gumasa Beach -- still need to know how to get here
    - gensan to gumasa, malayo masyado. kung pakyaw ka expect ka na lang na 1k up. wala ako idea sa presyo talga kasi maramihan kami kung pumunta ng gumasa at may dal kaming sasakyan. travel is 1hr 30 mins max, from airport.

Day 2 Mon - check out from Isla Jardin and go to Lake Sebu
    - Lake Cebu from Isla Jardin, assuming sa gensan yung isla jardin, malayo ang lake sebu. sa kabilang side yun ng ruta mo based sa ruta papuntang gumasa. Pero may direct bus, from gensan, yellow bus or husky. then baba ka ng koronadal/marbel, then lipat ka ng bus/van papuntang surallah. then from surallah. sakay ka ng jeep/skylab to lake sebu.sakay ka nung tallest zipline in the phils. ha. ü
Day 3 Tue - check out from Punta Isla and go back to Gen San for pasalubong shopping

Day 4 Wed - 7am flight back to Manila

    - mas maganda marami kayo, para makatipid ka.

pm lang for details, kung malabo instruction ko.
