more than a decade of coming back and forth to the U.S. entertaining Filipinos is totally different from the above ^^ statement. given this premise, if she could make it, she would have made it by then. maybe she needs a new manager or agent don't you think?

Madonna, Mariah and Celine personifies the above cliche. but Regine in the U.S. market? those women have been there and done that in the U.S. music scene literally for years and for Regine at her age (36 about the same age as Mariah) to make it there would really be a daunting task. let's not kid ourselves here. we might even be posting on this thread after 5 yrs when Regine turns 41 or another 5 yrs after that and she'd be like really old.. and we'd still be hoping by then I guess.
if it were 10-15 yrs ago, I'd strongly believe there would be a chance she'd make it. but not when you're almost past your prime. sad to say, that's where she is at this moment of her career. which manager would gamble on a performer who does a rendition of a song by an artist half her age?

^^doesn't it clearly show that time has passed her by as far as making it in the U.S.?

tell me which performer local or international made it big in the U.S. when he/she was about 40 yrs old?
