After cooling the slag produced in the Converter Furnace, it goes to SFP to recover the Cu that goes along with the slag during skimming. The slag would first undergo two-stage crushing prior to milling then to flotation. The slag that comes out of the primary crusher with size -100 mm is further crushed to -16 mm sizes in the secondary crusher. This is done to further liberate the magnetics from the non-magnetics (white metal) for the succeeding operation which is magnetic separation. -HEHE..Thats a real fact in our Slag Flotation Facility..
