Unsa diay style sa negosyante dire nyor.. expert man kaha kaayo kah.

Kung nagbayad na ang negosyante minimum wage (kaso sa PAL more than minimum wage nah) og nisunod sa balaod sa separation pay (sa PAL, mas dako man kaysa requirement sa balaod).. karon naay tao dre nga nagdemanda og security of tenure - unsa nah - lifetime employment?? WTF...

What are companies in other countries like U.S. or Japan doing better than businessmen here are doing? I think it's just the same right? They deal with the same labor issues and problems. What do you think is happening to GM? The only way to guarantee lifetime employment is for someone to pay for it.. GM was bailed out to save those worker jobs but at what cost and whose pocket? You think it's fair to anyone to require this lifetime employment? Nobody can give that to you, no law or President can create it because the moment they do that, businessmen will stop investing here and put their money overseas. What do you think is happening with SM, they are already putting up more malls abroad than they are here. That shows that no one can force businessmen to invest here if the laws and the government become anti-business.

Lisod ning lalisa.. this businessmen vs labor is an old conflict but I think it's nothing to do with Noynoy in the PAL case since what we're dealing with here is an illegal strike, or actions tantamount to economic sabotage. If some here say its not about anti-capitalism it's about the way businessmen act, I also say it's not about being anti-leftist but it's about the way unions are acting. They are going way beyond what unions normally do in other countries. Nobody can provide lifetime security of tenure, not even Japan.

In other words, murag iro nga namaak sa gahungit ninyo.

Unya 1,500 man to ka employees gi tagaan gyud tog 3M kada isa? tibook 3M or gi tigi2x?

Phl one of top destinations for services outsourcing
By Pia Lee-Brago (The Philippine Star) Updated October 03, 2011 12:00 AM Comments (0) View comments

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippines has established itself as one of the top destinations globally for services outsourcing, being second only to India.

The Philippine Permanent Mission in Geneva reported that Trade and Industry Undersecretary for Industry and Investments Cristino L. Panlilio recently informed the 58th Session of the Trade and Development Board, which oversees the activities of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), that the Philippines’ cost competitiveness, excellent telecommunications infrastructure, large talent pool and strong public-private sector had attracted multinational companies.

Panlilio also said that partnerships, and relatively low risk perception are among the factors that transnational corporations considered in selecting the Philippines for services outsourcing.

Services outsourcing in the Philippines includes voice business process outsourcing (BPO), non-voice BPO in finance, accounting, medical transcription, and other areas, and information technology – electronic service outsourcing (IT-ESO).

In 2010, the Philippine IT-BPO industry reached US$9 billion in revenues, and engaged the services of 530,000 full-time employees in financial services, human resources, IT and software development, management services, engineering design, animation and other sectors.

Panlilio noted that the industry now accounts for 60 percent of the country’s total services exports.

In 2011, the industry is expected to generate $11 billion in terms of services export revenues, and to provide employment to 640,000 people.
