the best tip would be that you be confident but not arrogant.
you have the experience, all you have to do is substantiate it.

and since its a phone interview, try standing while talking.
it promotes faster thinking and better posture gives your voice a more confident sound.

Is the company still hiring for CAD operators?

Although I sent my resume and portfolio a year ago, I never got the call for the interview and the exam.

Hi sir shryock! I'm an electronics engineering graduate, last year lang March, passed the licensure exam last october. I am currently employed sa teradyne, mag 6 months naku diri. Ask lang ko sir if mudawat ba mo ug applicants with a different background from what Fluor does, my job man gud is in electronics hardware testing and repair. Ni apply bya ko diha right after I got my license pero mga tag-as naman kau ug experience ilang mga gipangita.

But not that big of a chance. since a lot of other people competing for the position have better relevant experiences.

Naa bay mga junior positions sa fluor sir that would be fitting for an eng'g fresh grad or for anyone with experience of less than a year like me? Taas man ug mga required experience ang ilang mga job posts gud sir, and I dont think i can compete considering that I am a recent graduate and am coming from a different industry.
