WARNING: THIS IS EXACTLY HOW they start to recruit the youth...An appeal to sympathy and emotion...blurting out half-baked information (or none at all) and instead keep banging on profuse negative connotations & generalizations, all of it to attack the government (even the common people) and our democratic way of life...

If you will notice, there is NONE whatsoever of any FACTS & FIGURES being mentioned to back up the accusations and the haphazard name-calling...it is intended that way IN ORDER TO SOW HATE & PREJUDICE.

Advise to the youth: Get a life. Try to be an optimist. Start dating. Get involved w/ sports & games. Start a hobby or something "constructive" to do while you have extra time. Better yet, join wholesome peers & organizations.

And for those who are procrastinating on their supposedly "impoverished" state, blame yourself, your parents, your relatives, or even perhaps your neighborhood. You can also blame God...and if you don't have a God, blame the Sun!

Advise to the Youth.there's no need for you to join the CPP-NPA or the communist to become usefull in this nation. All you need is awareness on what is going on in your country not just in your personal life.enjoy life as it is but have courage to fight corruption in this country.Corrupt officials were being elected to post because of our grandparents mistakes. Now it's time for you to make a change.Let's show them that youth are still the hope of this fatherland. You are being exposed to corruption! dont embrace it.Instead fight it.

The YOUTH needs to ponder on these too :

That a good leader does good things when nobody is watching and knowing about it .

Just because someone else said that she or he is CORRUPT , that she or he is a THIEF , that she or he is EVIL ... think first before believeing in it . Think why that someone who said that made him or her say it .

For the YOUTH to care and love his or her country , he or she should observe rules and regulations , go to school and excel and become proffessionals , respect people in the position and elders , believe what he or she thinks is right as long as their is a positive conviction and not what others tell him or her is right to gain SYMPATHY and ALLIANCE .

The YOUTH should not join these left wing organizations , abhor extremist ideals and by being nationalistic , observe / respect and support the elected officials .

amazing. that's quite an authoritarian mandate. sounds too much like a nazi to me. respect and support elected officials who happen to be corrupt? sure.

it's as if the only way to be nationalistic is to respect people in position and elders. that's nowhere near "nationalism".

I am generally speaking and you are just merely pointing out specifically . Heck who do you want to support bisan walay respect na lang Gareb , be honest .

What could be worst is giving those motions to gain ALLIANCE and SYMPATHY behind hidden agendas .

Now , it might sound AUTHORITARIAN MANDATE to you but if I will rephrase it "For the YOUTH to care and love his or her country , he or she should NOT observe rules and regulations , SHOULD NOT go to school and excel and become proffessionals , SHOULD NOT respect people in the position and elders , SHOULD NOT believe what he or she thinks is right as long as their is a positive conviction and ALWAYS RELY what others tell him or her is right to gain SYMPATHY and ALLIANCE .

    Tell me about it ....

it's as if the only way to be nationalistic is to respect people in position and elders. that's nowhere near "nationalism".
That is one ... you said that and I didnt about ONLY WAY TO BE NATIONALISTIC . Now if you have more then lay it down the table .

You cant be nationalistic even patriotic if you dont know how to observe the efforts , time from the people who where ahead of us , will be ahead of us because its not the YOUTH who changes the nation . The YOUTH enjoys the nation .

tsk. tsk. better the Devil than the deep blue sea, eh?

since you are familiar with how your corrupt officials work, you'd rather "respect and support" them (the horror!) rather than criticize, condemn and remove them from power. who do i respect? i respect those people whose motives and actions are in line with the common good. that is less than your (questionably) elected officials whom you want us all to "respect and support".

you easily and fatally fell into error of bifurcation which, because i disagreed with your previous comments, you automatically assume, without taking things into the right context, that the exact opposite of what you suggested was what i wanted to advocate. i'm sorry to disappoint you on this, though.

You cant be nationalistic even patriotic if you dont know how to observe the efforts , time from the people who where ahead of us , will be ahead of us because its not the YOUTH who changes the nation . The YOUTH enjoys the nation .
it is as if you assume that the only way to show love for one's own country is to "follow rules and regulations" when it is quite clear that certain rules and regulations run counter to the common good. your prescription for what the youth should do is, allow me to use the term, simplistic. it presupposes that everything will be well if we follow an obviously rotten social sructure.

it's not the youth who changes the nation? your prescription only allows the youth a passive role, to 'enjoy' while the corrupt bigwigs have their greedy palms at the helm of power, directing what course this sinking ship is heading. you prescription wants the youth to keep silent in the name of 'respect' and obey everything that is ordered even if those orders are wrong. you want us to swallow official propaganda without even dissecting for ourselves the truth and implications of such informations, out of sheer "support and respect". i am afraid you might have presumtions that the youth are that dumb.

you seem to have forgotten that 'respect' is not something granted out of status, age or position. respect is earned. who shall tell us that the politicians that you want us to "respect and support" have earned their right to be respected?

i have a better alternative to your prescription. where yours is "blind obedience", mine is called "critical thinking". talk about the subject when you have fully grasped it.
