..in a classroom with 50 students, if 10 students fail, we could say that it's those students fault that they failed. But if more than 50% of the class' population failed, then, it's the teachers fault.

..i've read a lot of bad mouthing from members towards mods in this thread, but as one of the old moderators in this forum, i would say that if being stupid is one of the grounds for ban, there would be many members who'd be banned today.

..i've learned that most members here don't respect the WARNINGS of a fellow regular member. If someone ( black colored username font ) reminds them of the rules, they will jump on him/her and saying they have no right to reprimand. The offenders still wait till a GREEN USERNAME appears to give the warning.

..most members here when given an infraction acts like they're lives about to end - OVER REACTING. It's fairly easy, you made a mistake, accept, apologize, done.

..that's why i don't usually give infractions, members have CHECKED the I AGREE box upon registering, therefore, they know the rules. I would just observe a certain offender and just ban him/her when the limit is reached.

here's one rule most members fail to read :

    16. Do not argue with the enforcement of these Rules and Regulations. If you are requested to comply, comply. Persistent violations will result in a ban.
..if you have further questions regarding some issues, just refer to RULE 16 above.

You whine and rant too much @SD. I'm really grateful you are not a mod and a judge.

Please realize it's normal that some people will not follow, like and agree with your theories, statements and conspiracies.

You can't just tell God or anyone to punish them or move them to hell or somewhere they can't say anything against your ideas coz it should be that way. As much as we want world peace, there will still be chaos, frustrations etc etc.
I say, life will be boring if everyone here on earth has the same mentality as you.

i was member here since 2004 pero na sipyat ko one time when i posting sa Hardware Thread and Vern give me an infra and i realize sayop ko so wala ko makig argue. I forgot kinsa to nga mod nga warning nako for posting For Sale Item sa Gadget Thread. So far sa ako na bantayan if mo follow lang ta rules dili man ta ma ban or ma infra. So far para naku wala ko problem sa mga mod even wala ko na sila makita in person. Pero sa uban members lang naa nga dili malikayan

I can see deleted threads and posts. Perhaps if you acted in a timely manner and sent me or the other admins links to these posts instead of arguing further with mods, then you would have had something done.

I had my share of being reprimanded, although nver given an infraction. What i do is avoid th thread altogther coz i might jst say something id regret later! Im a person with very limited tolerance for discipline. That's how i act mostly at home, workplace. Pro diri sa forum, i tend to back down. Bcoz i think that although istorya.net is accessible to the public, it's still private owned. Thus, as much as we like to be shenanigans and like to make a point in all topics we venture, we should still live and act by the rules. Kay honestly, this is such a fun pasttime for me and the least i can do is obey the rules. Although, i sometimes like to test the water!

It is hard to argue a mod considering he has the upper hand to implement the house rules and his own personal emotional rules especially he is on the other side of the debated subject of the thread, because without considering how good a thread to be discussed, with his biases he will still delete it. And one thing, I noticed on that deleted threads are trolls who indiscriminately attacked personally their opponents without being warned by the mod, in short he tolerated them because they are on his side of the subject.

And my question is, why delete the thread? Why not just close/lock it for good? Is it because he has the power to do it? Why we can see irrelevant threads not being deleted it is just being locked? Why not just leave the readers/forum members to decide for themselves about the subject matter of the thread by locking it?

I respect the mod, the fact nga wa ko motubay niya kay ingon pa ma-ungo siya(sayang pud). Ingon pa sa usa ka saying, “SILENCE is sometimes the most eloquent reply”. In my opinion, mod deviate sometimes(human instincts?) but most of the time they did their best to implement the forum rules.

yes, I over reacted because I was muted. I could have helped fellow musicians who needs my self as necessity. This is what istorya.net for. Charity and good dids.

I have done this several times to that mod. I even offer free service to him.

And I still thank God(s) I can still be of help to anyone who needs electronic repair.

subjective man gud ng paghatag ug infraction.

it all started out when I favor the possibility that there is a vector faster than the speed of light.

I was just curious, and he became fanatic.
