Sun symbols are very common in the Catholic Church. Some examples are halos, tridents, solar wheels and lightning bolts.
Some specific examples are:

1. The square of St. Peter's basilica in Rome consist of the largest solar wheel in the world. The square is circular and the wheel has eight stokes.
2. In the center of the square is an obelisk, a phallic symbol dedicated to the worship of the sun.

But I do not think there is A PROMOTION OF SUN WORSHIP. It is not in any way recent so you can't say that SUN WORSHIP is promoted "karon".

If you're asking why the Catholic Church uses pagan symbols and sun worship symbols, it's actually very logical.
Catholicism is just like any other religion, it has been copied and patterned from the previous religion.

If I may use my own words and understanding, this is what may have happened:

1. Decades ago, people worship the sun and other gods.
2. Here comes the Catholics who want to convert these people.
3. Not wanting to scare off the people from something new, they introduced their belief and mixed it
with the local's practice by using some of the symbolism the locals were using.
4. Over time, the practice stuck and now we have this religion with some of those pagan symbols.

*I noticed I've been using "Pagan" symbols instead of "Sun" symbols but let it be. I'm generalizing now.

The point is Symbols don't mean anything intrinsically. They have the meaning we assign to them.
If SUN worship uses the sun symbol as the symbol of the god of sun, so be it.
And if RCC uses the symbol of the sun as the symbol of the divine reverence of the Lord, so be it.

Sorry sir shockie for shifting gears, I just wanted to answer your question baya pero i find one of your statement either misleading or confusing.

1. How can a "secret" society promote something? Aren't they called "secret" for a reason?! And now you're saying they are promoting something? How? Asa ka kita? Sah youtube links??
