now I don't know what he meant about it, I was just merely quoting him...he really said that! I guess he was just picking the wrong word, let's put it this way nalang, "America can't even manage Hawaii perfectly"... hope this the "best" word.

It is not your wording. It is the entire premise of the idea that somehow Hawaii is worse off compared to the other states and that it be used as an example of how "badly" it is being "managed". Which it is not.

well that's your own view! I was just merely changing it for your own benefit , because IMO you don't like his idea. and who are we also if my American friend opines like that? he is more in the position of making such comments because he is an American, He knows how America runs their country. So I guess we respect each others opinions just as other foreigners love our country more than a lot of us are.

Being American doesn't mean he knows anything. I am not disrespecting his views, I am pointing out how flawed his logic is. That is the purpose of discussion. If we wanted to all agree, we can start a little club and copy and paste "I agree" in response to every topic. I am American, I overrule his comments. That is my American position.

so,one thing that I miss out here was not knowing who the guys I am talking with.So thanks, if your really are, as an American making your own opinions. I respect you and I respect my friend. He might not be that into discussing politics more than you here but its his own views, I can't do nothing about it and I can't also judged his logic simply because I've never been to America. so thanks!
