if you are to ask me, we got good deals at mongkok, didto mi palit celfone, like my dual sim PDA china fon, didto 7k only, ipod video 80gig 15K, pentax 7 mega pixel camera one of the newer model that time only at 9K.
for my wife mga big bags kay about 60 to 70 HK dollars so mga tag 360 lang, blouses less than a 100 pud, daghan au barato sa mongkok. and ah shan is something like it but wala mi bath tab, but hot and cold water gihapon, more or less mao-mao ra.

Nipalit mi sa among digital SLR sa Mongkok ... kalimot ko pila basta mo translate ra to almost 500 US$ .. we saved 100$US sa among purchase. Akong missis namalit ug daghan plastic nga relo sa ilang night market ... mu translate ra ug tag 2 US$ each.

Sa imo ticket nga 4,500, did you still have to pay P1,620 at the airport for Phil Travel Tax, aside from P550 terminal fee?

Barato ra ba dyud ila jewelries didto? Around pila man sad imo napalit?

ZUM got my singapore ticket for oct at the same prom nga 1 peso, apil na tanang tax excpet terminal fee wapay apil, i think 750 na karun. mao ra way apil.

The curry beef of Cafe de Coral is the best amonst the fastfood restaurants. Even better than some curry houses.

Judging on the pics na gi-post ni samuraiarcher, ingun ana ra sad ang ahshan hostel? asa man jud ang mas daghan ma-shoppingan didto like clothes and gadgets (mongkok or tst) and asa pud ang mas cheaper? hehehe.

i think same floor na sila ang new garden ug USA HOstel....murag naka basa ko ana....tupad ra gyud sila, lain lain lang tag iya...but according sa uban..USA ang medyo okay na sa Mirador compared sa uban nga Hostel in that building....

*yes barato gyud....ang its pure gold..ako na buy kay mga white gold 18 K....ang diamond ring kay i bought aroung 12,000..sa metro ayala kay mu-range na sya from 20k to 25k...ang mga studs earrings for my sisters..bought it at around 1,500 pesos..here kay kasagaran 14k lang tag 1,300..half ang difference sa price sa jewelries in HongKOng ug diri sa ato....

*ang shiam shiu po dali ra pud matultulan kay na-a man sya MTR station, naug lang ka didto....mas barato didto kay kasagaran mamalit mga locals...mao medyo mas barato sya...

*to give u idea nga barato gyud sa Hongkong...ang bossini nga t-shirts..here sa ayala its 1,100 pesos..gi sale tag 750 pesos i guess..in HK gi-sale tag 300 pesos ra....

*ang mga items in Hongkong mas better ang quality compared sa mga items in divisoria....maybe u can find it in divisoria in cheaper price but the quality in hongkong is better...so don't expect nga u can buy in hongkong nga tag 3 pieces for 100 pesos..ilaha didto kay 3 pieces for 600 pesos....kung first timer kla n hongkong u'll find the prices nga mahal kay u'll always think dat u can buy dat in manalili nga barato ra but if makatry naka buy and use it for long..maka compare naka....like for example mga fake relos...in manalili u can buy it for 75 pesos but dali ra maguba..in hongkong u can buy it at 120 pesos but will last for years...but for branded products...like sa mga boutique(giordano, bossini, CK, lacoste, speedo, HM, channel n aders) n cameras, cellphones..cheaper gyud sila didto...

thanks sa info samuraiarcher. btw, di ba nagpa convert ka sa imo peso to HKD sa Hongkong airport? What was d exchange rate that time? Cuz i want it to compare sa exchange rate diri cebu. Kato sulti ni Ho_Chia nga naa dapit sa fuente daw kay nakakita nako where xa dapita. I think 1HKD = 5-6Php. Pero kato ad2 mi casino naa didto, i dont know if pedi ba pa exchange to HKD imo PHP kay wa man ko ni ask nauwaw ko. hehe! Ila rate sa casino kay 1HKD = 4.5PHP. Pedi ba pa exchange dd2? =)

Barato na kaayo na and 1HK 4.5 pesos ra. basin dili na cguro na tinuod mam kay daghan mopalit ana, way below market value na ma'am ang imo HK.
