Elance and freelancer are good sites. But you can register at freelancercareers.com. This is also relevant site.

To everyone who has been reading my threading, subscribing to my thread, na open nyoha mind to try out homebased job or have received your first dollar pay, thank you so much! I never thought that the response will be so overwhelming!

I did this to help fellow istoryans and those who simply want to be out of the rat race...I hope a lot of people will be encouraged to take homebased job as something to consider...

    Some inputs:

    1. There is no shortcut in getting that first job. Dapat pangetaon na nimo.

    2. At first you don't succeed, don't stop. Proceed with the next and try again.

    3. It's not all about the money, it should be learning the ropes...When you do well on your job, foreign clients will not have second thoughts to pay you more or give you a bonus.

Websites to find jobs without having to register:

    1. Craigslist.org - go for Philippines, then Cebu. Choose the ad that says all about the work, more details and not just a general overview.

    2. Freelancer.com - this is where I got my jobs before. (go to page 1 and there is a link to my free ebook for you to check out how to get jobs from this site)

One last thing, don't give up hope!

I recommend oDesk and Elance. 100% Legit.
They both use tracker softwares so you are paid every hour you work and reflects directly to your account.

Currently I have a client from oDesk and a client from Elance both Full time. A part from that is I am part of a Virtual Staffing company which is client based who gives out part time jobs. So right now, In total I have 4 online jobs. 2 full times and 2 part times. If you are wondering how I do this, I have 1 desktop computer and 2 laptops in front of me. So super duper ever MULTITASKING. HAHA! It's all about time management and experience is your ULTIMATE WEAPON to attract clients.

Good thing about online job is working under less supervision, meaning less STRESS and NO TAX!!!!!!!!... Da bes...

    So, pag HOMEBASE namo...

@lepitenkevin: Mura karelate ko ana hehehe.. Think nakasuway ka work og office based then shift og homebased then karon you want to go back to office based. Ako kay na diretso man ko homebased. Although, I have wanted to work in an office but with the politicking and based on what I have experienced pag-ojt nako sa gov't bank makadiscourage au with all the sipsip, libak dire libak didto kastressful baya ana ui.

nakabalay (down payment + monthly amort) sad ko ane homebased job but ako mama ne tiwas sa monthly this year mura ma fully paid na sa ako mama (mas adunahan ako mama kesa nako hahaha) in a well-known subdivision sa south.

@chromezzz: Good for you... Ako kay got 2 full-time jobs and both of my clients know na I got one going while working on them both simultaneously (data entry og chat support) and sideline japon ko sa uban clients.

The best part of it all, my clients became my friends and I can even get mad at them especially if I know I am right and I don't like what they are doing...The very reason na masayun-sayon ra nako sila? Coz I know I am indispensable they can never find someone much better than me Been working with 2 fulltime jobs for 6 months going strong paman sad.
