Anyways, would you know the price range of a decent room for rent in a decent place that is near the bus stop, malls or other significant places?

    @mini, thanks for the info

    thanks for the info bro & sis, actually, im good na for renting a room lang, not the entire basement or anything, that will save me a lot as this cost around 300CAD compared to 475CAD, but for now, wla pa koy choice, kay mao pa pag transfer nako, in due time, maybe if i can already find a work, then ill find a place that is near the workplace..

    nice ra diha sa Edmonton, Alberta? kay apply ko for Canada under Federal Skilled Worker... sa Keppel ko ni apply - then ga-libog ko. wala d-ay nay working visa? kay akong agency naay employer diha sa Canada then inig process nila ako visa daw is Immigrant Visa. Right now, na-accomplish na naku tanan papers naku for processing daw sa L.M.O (Labour Market Union, man guru to) then have to wait for 2-3mos. daw dn mag-met pa pud daw me sa employer ana dn after ana start daun processing for visa. Actually only 30 nurses in Cebu ra ila dawatan and 20 nurses in Manila- mao daw need sa employer. In my case, d naku in need ug show money since got an employer. Ako nlng byaran is ang processing fees, fee sa agency (gues, professional fee man guru) and plane ticket. then e mail rman daw ang visa, don't need to go to Canadian Embassy para mag-personal apearance.
    it takes about 6-8 months daw ang processing period hangtod ma-receive ang visa.

    Naa pud ko ask, ni-ana man ako consultant nga i need to take daw IELTS- GENERAL TRAINING... naka-take naman ko sa ACADEMIC... dapat d-ay ang 2 jud ka IELTS ang tekan?
