7. as long as the router conforms with 802.11b and 802.11g standards it will work.

. Some of theme are misconfigured routers that anybody can connect and use their bandwidth without the owners knowing.
i like this because its compact and i travel a lot. try to get the SRX model if its in your price range.
. both linksys router and access point will work out of the box. but if you have problems using it, there are a lot of techheads here who will configure it for you for pizza and coke.
