PS3 versus Xbox 360 versus Wii

If Sony includes Location Free streaming / server capabilities to the PS3 that would definitely be a big big boon for PSP owners, they haven't been very clear on this feature though, they're probably still thinking about including this or not. My guess is they may make this functionality an add-on instead of being included in the core system, at present the PS3 would cost too much to manufacture and the only way for them to lower the price to manageable levels would be to shed off some of the features they boasted about earlier.

I really can't wait for E3 to come around, those playable Revolution games are going to kick so much ass. There's also supposedly a major feature for the console that hasn't been revealed yet, wonder what it'll be? I really hope Nintendo gets a lot more third party devs to support their console, so far Kojima and Konami, Square Enix, and a handful other major devs are really interested in making games for the console, all they need to do now is follow through on their promises.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people here haven't seen what the Revolution can do, check out this video :

For those of you got the X-Box 360 & an HDTV TV, If you bought Microsofts O.E.M. component cables; & before you adjust the console settings for display e.q. 720P 1080i & screen size, be sure to flip the little tiny switch @ the base of the component cable itself.Â* The switch is on default on regular TV not on HDTV.Â* Microsoft did not include this in their instruction manuals.Â*Â* Â*

My Brother was playing his 360 w/ a HDTV w/ component cables since last November & he does not know about the little switch.Â* He thought that setting the consoles display & screen size were enough.Â* After I inform him, He is now enjoying Fight Night w/ so much lifelike clarity on his new Sony XBR HDTV series.

(scratches the head) I did not see it...I even put my Manual on my magazine stacks @ my bath room & I was reading it every day - could not find it. BTW mine is a Core System
not the Premium one.

But I was informed it was included in the HD cable box ( bought it separately)...probably it was beneath the box. But Pelicans own HD component cables does not have a switch that chooses Normal to HD.

Ahhaa! My bad too. Didn't realize you had the Core version. Yeah the Core only came with the standard AV cable so the whole switch thing was never mentioned in the manual.

Thanks for the tip though. I was at our local EB Games shop the other day and noticed how their Xbox360 demo had crappy output on a Samsung LCD TV. You mentioning it here, I was reminded bout the whole switch thing. I told the EB guy bout it, & I was surprised to know he wasn't even aware of it. He thought the Xbox360 had "Intellisense Video Output Technology". Yeah very funny buddy!
