But as for the replacement unit, how long were you using the phone before you first went there for a replacement? Sa Palm kay if maguba imu unit more than 30 days but within the 1 year warranty, ila ka ilisan og refurbished unit. All accessories, including the battery, battery cover, and stylus will not be replaced. So ang old gihaon nga accessories ang naa sa imu. Although, this is for their Treo lines only.

As for what they told you nga walay warranty ang replacement unit, dli gyud ko musugot ana bro.

regards to the rumor that AudioNet ends up destroying the phone that you had repaired sa una rana na panahon as what Mr. Wlliam Yeh said (sales manager of audionet), complicated jud daw e.ayo ang mga phones sa una pero ang karn na mga generation, module na... so kung sa PC pa, plug and play ang mga internat parts. w/c is cool dba?

anyway, malas lng jud to pagka palit na unit. good thing g replace na nla. pero i agree, we need to do something, 2 days is not enough to check if there is something wrong with the phone. ingon sad si Mr Yeh nko na g take advantage pud cla sa una ani, sa una ila warranty is 30days then 1 week then karn 2 days... sa una daw grabe ila alkansi ky ang customer mo gamit sa unit for 30 days or 1 week then e.uli para ilisan ug lain. Pero still thats not a reason to let other customer suffer without Store warranty.

you guys might find this surprising (or shocking) but I bought my new phone WITHOUT warranty. It saves me 2k off the warrantied ones. The only difference was that ikaw bayad sa pisa if guba. 7day replacement man nuon but ni ingon to ang tindera nga para safety daw dapat naai warranty. I told her: "Mao ra gyapon dai. If mag palit ko anang warranty ang serbisyo akong makuha mura ra man gyapon nagpalit sa wala. Pa dagdag ra na sa gastos. Kay ngano, if maguba na akong fon ma ilisan ba ninyo diha-diha?" Silence. Then the "1 week" reply came. "Aw, then I don't want any warranty."

Istoryans, while some cellphone dealers here may find this advice idiotic you may all find this practical:
1.) You save around 1.5k-2k from the ones with warranty.
2.) In a warrantied version of the phone if something breaks they will always find some excuse that the defective part is "not covered". Then ipasa dayon ka that it's the brand's policy. Ang naka halata ani mga migo't miga is that when you DO read the warranty it DOES cover the said part they said is NOT covered.
3.) If and when they fix your phone they fix it in such a haphazard way that by the time they give it back to you it is full of tool marks and some of the parts may not have been replaced properly (ang uban kawaton pa gani). Even a 1 month old fixed phone looks like a year old after they are done with it. This will eventually lead to short term defects that begin to crop up a few weeks or months after the unit was serviced.

Most likely they will spend a longer time to fix the phone than the time you actually owned the phone. :P

So I ask you is the additional hard earned 1k or 2k you spend on that item worth it? For me dili!

Mao na if guba ang fon bahalag mahal ilabay nalang bahalag pila ra na ka months old. Why prolong the agony? This is a depreciating and long term perishable commodity! Might as well accept this fact.

The day they start a nationwide policy that defective electronics are to be given FULL replacements and not just "parts, repair and servicing". That's when I will consider buying an item WITH warranty.

diri ra man na ang baligya ug butang walay warranty.. they are called "gray markets".
