cool off, is when you try to stay on to a different state that is lower or slower than the currrent state.
when you're pressured and you try to relax, which is very much needed from day to day in the busy world.
but i prefer to use " cool down " it's much nicer to hear, cool off is like f_c_ off,
which nobody would like to hear.
cool down, as in " cool down, man "

When shit hits the fan, turn on the air conditioning as that's the best way to cool off. :P
