good technology? or good design? hahaha.. im not bashing or lambasting anything here bro.. just refuting some of your comments about the 'very AWE!some' phone that every seems to admire at - iphone...


personally it's just a piece of toy that Jobs concocted from his cupertino backyard... and hey.. im not blown or overwhelmed by this phone really... it's bound to happen sooner or later.. it just Jobs made a quick think jackpot on releasing it sooner.. rather than later.

are we still talking about sleekness here? Agreed that the iPhone is not the be all and end all off all phones but it is what it is right now... Simply a phone that serves its purpose. What do you want from a phone anyway, to wash your laundry?

yah you right.. im not sourgraping because i dont own a an iphone.. for me this is just piece of toy that makes a first hand user wonder like a child.. makes a person delighted like a child.. all for a piece of toy... yah.. go play w. it.. it's all hyped still (going back to my previous statements earlier)

i responded to answer that their was a late comer that did very well.
then i mention that cell market is still young and there is still some thing new to offer

i respond to say that comparatively speaking it is still in the early stages of its development

OT: Joshbonz - para nimo bai, unsa may purpose sa cellphone? Mostly pang text diba? ang konsumo sa imong load kay pang text mostly then maybe a quarter of it pang tawag. Do you stay connected/online all the time? Do you download text, documents, spreadsheets, PDA files? Do you use it for business? You call it a toy because YOU DO NOT USE THE APPLICATIONS AND FEATURES YOU'RE BUYING THE PHONE FOR. Pero is it really just a toy to people who use it for their true purpose, who utilizes its applications? I have no idea ug maka relate ka... `cause unlike you, I use the phone as to what they're made for. My last phone was a Blackberry... and I consider the iPhone an upgrade (tenfolds).

You are so engulfed about the "HYPE" .. consumed kaayo ka and murag apektado ka. Why are you so against a phone that can do a lot of stuff and only costs roughly 1/3 of a Nokia N95? What's so bad about the iPhones?

OT: if they do comparisons with the iPhone to other smartphones, they always point that out na iPhones doesn't have 3G and I agree that EDGE is not that fast (pero 3G sa pinas is not that fast either.. even ang DSL diha makasapot). Swerte lang ko nga dili na factor para nako. Diri sa amo, halos bisag asa naay public wifi connection. I can always stay connected via wifi as fast as 2+mbps sa akong iPhone.

Regardless - that phone you posted is NICE! - how thick is that phone?
