3 university students qualify for Ayala Leadership Training
By Mark Garcia
THREE Silliman University students will join 70 student participants from around the country in the 8th Ayala Young Leaders Congress (AYLC) in February this year.
Nursing Major Lorraine Mendoza, mass communication major Jesman Kenneth Manzano, and speech and theatre arts major Claudio Ramos qualified in the AYLC after passing its three-phase selection process.
The three-day event, scheduled in Tagaytay City, will cover workshops, lectures, outdoor activities, plenary sessions, and discussions designed to hone their kills and potentials.
The program is considered as "the keystone of shaping tomorrow's leaders," an activity launched by Ayala Corporation in 1998 as its commitment to national development.
Ayala Corp. believes that quality education and value-based leadership formation work together to equip the youth for their role in nation-building.
AYLC hopes to contribute to develop a powerful group of change agents and servant leaders from among young Filipinos.
