Do you believed the Big Bang and evolution theory?

Time out here. I\'m confused. Do you think I\'m against Darwin\'s Theory or for it?


Just to clarify, I\'m neutral on Darwin\'s theory. For me, it\'s ok, I\'ve nothing to complain about it, but neither am I going to insist to others that they should support Darwin\'s theory. When it comes to theories, I think people should be free to choose which theory they like.

Well, I didn\'t get that impression really. I was merely conversing with you about the comparative complexity between instant creation ex nihilo and evolution. That\'s all.

I'll just clarify again. Since the topic starter asked if we believe in the Big Bang Theory and Darwin's Evo theory or not, I posted that I like the middle route, stating that God could have created via something like the Big Bang and gave his creations the capacity to evolve via something like Darwin's Evo theory.

Then all of the sudden, I got counter-arguments about why God would use something like Darwin's Evo theory. Intelligent Design Theory is more likely they say.

That's where it got confusing. Again, I'll just state I'm taking the middle route. God could have used something like Darwin's Evo theory or something like Intelligent Design or maybe something else entirely.

big bang cud be if wat they said that the universe keeps on expanding then theres a possibility that its true ... darwins theory? hmmm cud be also if the current african elephant came from the ice aged mammoth and the current panthers and other big cats came from sabertooth tiger then theres a big possibility .... but then again its all a theory it cud be right and it cud be wrong ... but its an interesting topic to talk to rather than politics ahehe

But know that Darwinian evolution had a very deep impact on political science. Marx and Engels, for example, derived from the biological theories of Darwinian evolution the social theories for their Communist ideology.

Hitler also derived his Nazi supremacist ideology from the same source and from Nietzche.

I think we all have a good idea of the body count that these ideologies heaped-- particularly Communism, which keeps increasing its pile of dead bodies since Stalin\\\'s tyranny.

People tend to draw inspiration from whatever ideas they have been exposed to. ^^ Sometimes, this results in bad things, but hopefully in more good results than bad.

Ideas, like technology is similar to a two-edged sword. Either good and evil can use them.

I should read up on Darwin. I wonder if he got into a similar difficulty with the Roman Catholic Church as Galileo did.

Intelligent Design is under a lot of fire from the scientific community.

I guess my point of view is kind of part Darwin's Theory by Natural Selection and part Intelligent Design since I think God could have given his living creations the capacity to evolve.
