Being in close association with them doesn't make you an expert, before you say something like "stupid", have you ever tried asking the level of hierarchy of entering into witchcraft? Just a roze quartz pendant (love), a Wiccan book and a letter saying welcome.

But let me make this clear AGAIN bcoz people seem to not get it. Wiccans DO NOT worship the devil. They worship the Goddess and God, representing the duality of nature. Yin and Yang. Creating, destroying, nurturing. Much like some other religions. There is no concept of the devil because nature is both creator and destroyer.
