what are you smoking? genocide is a crime against humanity. you're idea will not end the cycle of violence. what the a-bomb did to japan is just hasten their defeat. what's with argument with friends and lgu's? do you do that here in cebu? you ask your friends to do that?

what you're thinking is let's an all-out-war in mindanao and after we won it everything will be alright. hmm. . . firstly, i completely disagree on your version of ww2 history. second, the idea of wiping the slate clean and start all over again is completely realistic and if you could do it is ethnic cleansing.

sometimes you take decisions in a harsher way to create a long term solutions. there is always collateral damage in every war made and malas lang ang maigo. same ra gud sa WW2 we were drag in a war that were not ours.and what can we do? its collateral damage bro. lgu's are the bridge from the local people to the national government. same as supervisors to the rank n files for the higher management to meet goals. theyre the ones who mold their minds to achieve the goal of the national government.

cebu already done that, there were years before that criminals roam everywere in the city. and where are they now? they're being wiped out. and how? you asked the locals here otherwise you cannot type those words in your computer table with guns ringing in your ears. we do things here the cebuanos way bro.....the only progressive city in the visayas.....

what i mean is every war there is always a lesson learned. and evry war should be fought otherwise you wont have answers to your questions. Nganong mohelp man ko sa mindanao? Ikaw, tabang diay ka didto? where are you man diay karon?

The problem with mindanao is that they dont field their own candidates to play a major role in politics. Kung naa pud candidate nga muslim di pud butaran like "Kiram". Unsaon pag hear sa ilang voices? All they wanted they're voices to be heard is through their guns and mortar nothing else. Laliman ka pila ka grupo didto - MNLF, MILF, ABUSAYAF, DAGHAN PA GYUD GANGS.... and they are not just a dozen people. they are composed of thousands of combatants not to mention pa gyud diay ang NPA nga naa pa gyd presence didto. beh, suwayi kuno adto greenpeace di ba maputol imong liog didto.....

Or simply mere politics that plays around the system. Maybe we should consider the other side of the story. Im a cebuano but living in mindanao. I've grasped the situation over the muslim region and frankly they also want peace. It's just some of this people that are really bad people that were causing the trouble, whether they are muslim or not. If you where living in this cities (ARMM region) you might take in to consideration why these people have deep sentiments to our gov't. Mindanao has been left for quite sometime with less resources and support. Think about it if you were on this people shoes? I know cruelty does not justify the means but its in there tradition and culture to do such act merely to show that they have an advantage and respect over the enemy. Anyway it's every individual's point of view to be heard of and air out there sentiments. Just respect our brothers and sisters commenting on this thread. Tnx

The reason is because they do not have the support of the people of Mindanao. They do not and will not support such candidates. Because they are like most people in the country/world, they do not support terroriists and their violent ways.

Are you a citizen of Cebu City or of the Philippines? I think that Davao City is also very progressive, oh... isn't Davao City located in Mindanao? So I guess they shouldn't be included in your bombing, cuz people who live in a progressive city must be so much more valuable than those people from anywhere else. Ridiculous.

I think Japan was bombed by the United States, not by Japan.

its not my version of the world war2 bro, its what historians say. their solution to the great depression was only temporary. had the world war 2 didnt happen, another depression could have happened http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_depression

i dont trust muslims. better cut off peace talks with muslim rebels in mindanao. kita ra gi-ilad sa MILF. Abu Sayyaf & MILF are in cohoots baya. so I am for the war against muslim rebels. pagkasamok ni sila sa atong nasud.

sige, istoryahan ta gamay ang ww2. your point is ww2 'solved' great depression in europe because of the need of war materiel but it did not. most of the western europe was under nazi germany during ww2 and by the end of war they're in rubbles. then america poured billions under marshall plan. that put them back on the tracks. if war did not happened, they could have took the same path that us took: new deal.
