PLDT MyDSL vs. Globelines BroadBand

hi all,

im using PLDT myDSL... 384Kbps

i cannot access www.ultimate-guitar.com, www.pcib.com and other sites.

naglibog ko coz my friend, using globe DSL can access the said websites at the same time that i cannot.

i have reviewed all the configurations of my mozilla and IE but nothing seems to be wrong.

i have previously read that some sites cannot be accessed using PLDT myDSL because of their DNS... how true is this?

or must there be something i missed in my browser configuraions? naglibog ko coz i can access other websites like yahoo... etc.

its not only you who are having problems accessing internet sites, naa kuno problema sa ilang DNS, maypa tawagan nimo ilang customer service para kabalo sila...katong old subscribers wala problema..

tried pldt, our email client got messed up. ang sad part kay ila tech support sa email i refer pa ka sa infocom kay sila handle sa smtp og pop settings nila, somehow per their explanation naa sila gikuha na third party spam control mao to amo mga emails sa company got bounced or most of the time dili jud me ka send og receive emails using their pop and smtp settings.

bati pod sila support mao balhin mi mozcom their line is ok we have 384 upgraded to 512 same monthly den we average 240kbs no complains

haayy.... mao ba... their costumer service has delayed responses... sometimes dugay kaayo mutubag sa fone...
i better switch to Globe nalang...

anyway ill try calling tomorrow...

anyone who has tried Bayantel? i have heard from a friend okay daw kaayo ang Bayantel....

i think area basis ra ang problem, daghan ko kaila wala ra mag problema gyud sa ilang internet connection. yesterday a friend of mine who uses 1.5mbps from pldt got an email nga nag upgrade daw sila sa ilang entire network si expected gyud daw ang downtime ug ang disconnections. so far akong connection diri walay problema

mao ba? how about those sites nga dili ma access? like www.ultimate-guitar.com and others....? maka access sila? new users na sila sa PLDT myDSL or sauna ra?
there are quite a lot of sites nga dili nko ma access nga ma access sa ako friend at the same time... i just cant trace them all na...

my friend is an old user of pldt dsl, ako bago pa last month pako gi taoran. both of us can access that site.. never came to a site that we cant access

mao ba? how about those sites nga dili ma access? like www.ultimate-guitar.com and others....? maka access sila? new users na sila sa PLDT myDSL or sauna ra?

Download speed is dependent on the site where you get file.Â* I'm a globelines subscriber of 384kbps unlimited.
I test my download from time to time by manually downloading the anti-virus update of my computer.Â* here is the result.
