As a starter of this thread, I all recommend that you should read the graphic novel before watching the film or you'll lose the 2:40 time you spend watching it. I have plans to watch it and so far I have read some good comments about the movie. People who watched and read the comic said that the movie is faithful to the graphic novel.

You are absolutely correct. People not familiar with The Watchmen will not like the film. They would say the story is slow and boring with little action. But to those who read and understand the graphic novel, you'll love the movie. Originally Posted by dAmNseL jEnY

The movie's Awesome and 3/4!
I haven't read the graphic novel but I didn't have a hard time understanding the movie. I guess one should listen carefully with each characters conversation to fully understand it.( unless you are only up for the fight scenes and the nudies, then you definitely suck!)Rorschach's got the most quotable quotes. Dr. Manhattan's blue dong's quite distracting. However, I got used to looking at it after 10 minutes
