its more so of the specs of the bike, if you have the money to spend on what you believe will give you comfortability for long riding then go for it but it doesn't make sense saving up for a year to buy that kind of bike. that's what I call keeping up with the joneses which is no good.

higher specs? we can have those on lower-end bikes. It's just the prestige that they have a higher price tag bike running around.
