You above anyone else know that im an atheist but for the purpose of this thread let me take the liberty of speaking to you as i was when i was a Christian for the sake of stating my case..

i could not agree more bro.. i get your point clearly, you nailed it by that money metaphor of yours.. Judas did as mentioned in the Gospel succumbed to his guilt and conscience by committing suicide, it was his choice, after all we are given free will.. but was traitory his choice? that i dont know.. for it was prophesied by God that he will be traitored by one of his disciples. It was his destiny, his ultimate purpose why he was included in Jesus' Apostolic roster, hell it was his reason why he was born in the first place,. if he is thus destined, then i can pretty well say that his actions are justified in that assumption,.

his traitory for me was destined by God but his actions after that was his personal choice.. and i dont think it's right for me to condemn or hate him just because he committed suicide, he got runned over by his guilt and conscience, so what?..

I agree, this has happened to me and my family. Sa una kay wala man jud koy religion, church or belief, pero pag sugod ug ka bisto sa akong papa nga nangabit diay xa for 10 years na sa akong mama, na change akong life and was saved by God. Same pud sa akong entire family.

Akong papa kay so obviously wala nay guilt feeling, even me sa akong pagka maldita nga babayi sa akong mama....wala na when I became a Christian....Akong papa gani kay mas na blessed na pajud, kung sa una local lng iyang contract as engineer, karon big time na...hehe

yep i got your point
it was merely for the same reason why God had to let me go through loads of unpleasant past to actually become a better one...
there are things that i did not choose in my life...like my family, how i was treated in the family...which most certainly is the main contributor of my rebelious acts which almost destroyed my life..in fact i am still paying a portion of the effects of my youthful sins .. had i killed myself? i wouldn't have known this hope...
so what if Judas was destined to betray Jesus, a greater destiny awaits..
that is to be forgiven...unfortunately Judas was overcame wit guilt...
so wherever he is karun..si Lord ray nahibaw
