pnoize2k7 - you are right. you are better off going to spain or italy.i went to paris (2003)with my hubby and the only nice thing there is the eifel tower.arrogant pa jud and french people. but when we went to rome (2004)and barcelona(2007) i loved it there. esp rome.the italians are so warm and i love the food.i think paris is over rated.

we're the ones visiting their place. deal with it. if you do your research, then you'll know what to expect.

i have nothing against you guys. but i guess everywhere in the world...they have their rude people and blah blah blah. surely you don't want to hear french people or other visitors diri sa pinas to say anything bad about us and our country, right? we can at least start on the good ones before dwelling on the bad ones for the sake of those na gusto mo visit ani na place.

as far as i know,we filipinos are not rude to tourists and we try to speak their language when they come here to our country. even if we don't speak their language we are still nice and helpfulto them on the street.that's hospitability for you.i don't see why we should put up with rude people just because we are in their country and i can't see the point in lying as well. we are just voicing out our experience.thank you.

@kitkat, i really can't relate to french and rude people because when i visited france, they were anything but that. contrary to that, the ones i met, nagkamalisod man tuod sila ug iningles...but still they go out of their way para makaapil ko istorya. before i went to france, i made sure na i will learn a few basic french words because they appreciate that...in a way, it helps break barriers. so there, i am in a way defending them because they were very nice to me when i was staying in france for a month.

they don't smile a lot like us. more often than not, it's mistaken for arrogance. i for one am not the type who puts up with rude people. pero ngano man diay ug magmug ot kadaghanan nila...di bitaw ako magka wrinkles!

Germany is nice tua didto akong mga first cousins they're in luxembourg. Then kung mahilig ka ug mga expensive pieces of artwork like Lladro and Swarovski type and fine porcelains Germany is the place for that. They're noted for their fine collectibles.
