Mga br0, I'm still looking to buy extra Resident Evil games, maski RE2 sa ps1 and the RE games for PS2.
If naa mu, please shoot me a PM
ang RE karon survival action naman tsk3
RE 2 the best for me i was played RE 1,2,3 code veronica and 4... RE was the best horror games i played...
wow. daghan jud ganahan sa 2. ako pud. hehe
haven't played pa RE5.. but nahuman na nako ang RE6. hehe.
Of course RE 2 has the most fans. IMO it was because of the time it was released. If I remember correctly, there were only a few games that came in multiple discs for the PS1 (I think the other game would be FF7 during this time) It was "rare" to play an "extended" version of a PS1 game man gud. Plus, the story itself was captivating: who wouldn't want to be some "rookie" cop who just got his first break and finds out he's in a zombie-infested town? I know, right?
Plus, the different scenarios you can do in that game, the soundtrack, the puzzles, the plot itself was (by far imo) the best that CAPCOM could ever come up with for RE.
Another reason for 2 being the better installment is the fact that CAPCOM also released the "Dualshock Ver." which made it even more interesting to play. That edition introduced us to Hunk and Tofu, extreme battle AND THE RETURN OF CHRIS REDFIELD! (well, non-canonical, I know but whatever hahaha)
You even had to play a defenseless/weaponless character in an area full of zombies/dogs at one point (as Sherry) which blew the lid off everyone playing Claire's scenario at the time.
And come on, as far as RE bosses are concern? William Birkin alone stands the best RE boss in the bunch! That guy was A BEAST. LITERALLY. He just keeps coming back for you! Now how awesome was that?!
I still think RE2 is still the best in the series. Although I have to say, I only stopped playing at RE4 and have yet to play the succeeding installments after it RE2 still has that "unique" touch you just can't wipe away. It may be dated and "cheesy" in today's standards but I bet that RE fans--the "truest" fans of the series would never deny the greatness of RE2.
