    J.R.R. Tolkien

The best...no doubt...hes has his own world and he brings us inside them...
If you've already read The Lord of the Rings and read its appendices, you'll know what I'm talking about.
All that he has written have supporting details as if they were true...Creating another reality out of Fiction...that's what I call a master!

Leithold made computer science in UP as easy as finding 'A HAY IN A NEEDLE STACK'!

if there's one man who strongly agrees on these thoughts, then that would be me! i've read the silmarillion and details about middle-earth. tolkien is indeed one heck of a writer.

Did you know J Tolkien and CS Lewis were best friends? And they both literary giants at that... They both created their own worlds. Tolkien's Middle Earth and Lewis' Narnia. I can only hope that someone will bring Narnia back to the big screen like they have with LotR.

Also, Stephen Hawking for taking something as complex as Quantum Physics and making it simple and accessible to the masses in "A Brief History of Time".
