Most of the things you say are probably true but you still need to show evidence that we paid anything for those because you're just speculating. In S. Korea case on the other hand, I've heard there's really a provision in their budget for support of their U.S. bases.

Well we have our own opinions and thoughts. Pero ako duda jud ko bai nga libre rato, millions of dollars unta ma profit sa US kung naa juy authentic nga bayran sa ila just like sa South Korea. Pero in the end, weak countries with weak military like us are just pawns to the rest of the big countries.

I think the Philippines is more secure against threats from other countries like China, who is pestering our Navy ships in Scarborough Shoal. In the event we go to war with China, at least, we'll be donning bullet proof vest and kevlar helmets, and firing modern rifles and gun before the Chinese rather than go to war with post-world-war-2 weapons that conk when soaked in water and mud.
