This is the difference with us, you don't know a certain thing then yet you've concluded already.
The original bible or the bible wrote by apostle don't have verses and chapter before.
It was just made by a Catholic priest so that it can be easily located and remembered.

There are some parts of the Bible that are written as poem. in fact the Proverbs are written as poems. Parts of the Psalms are written as poems too.


some revelations are given by God in this way to best convey what He reveals.

The Bible is replete with figures of speech: simile, metaphor, anthropomorphism etc.


the Bible in the original though has no verses and chapter divisons.
