death and metal scene/community in general here in Cebu are very much active. mainstream people don't really know much about it maybe because it's an underground thing. kana kun naa pay underground. kron panahona everything is in the net. swerte ang mga bag-ong tubo ron... as for the goth if you're referring to goth metal like type o,moonspell,Theatre Of Tragedy etc. etc. those who was hook-up with that kind of stuff i dunno if there's a scene exclusively for that here in our shore. lastly, the original goth or goth/wave for that matter already exist long before Lacuna and their contemporaries was conceived stuffs like the early the cure, early depeche mode, bauhaus, dead can, sisters of mercy, siouxsie, xmal, xymox, joy division (my fave) etc. etc. etc. on which i know a number of friends who are still into it up to now since the 80s.

the feeling's mutual..but, as far as i know..di njd active ni,,can anybody do something about this?

I am still into it...and about Lacuna, theyre awesome...i have a copy of their Live Performance in Wacken....many death metalheads in mindanao like Lacuna a lot....i dunno why theyre not so famous here in cebu...right now, am into EPICA......
