Monthsaries aren't supposed to be the benchmark of a lasting relationship.
However it doesn't hurt to remember and relive that special date when you
guys started to hook up, aite? It doesn't have to be that grandiose that
you're gonna blow your month's salary to celebrate. A simple note or a fast-
food will simply do

Personally, I was a sucker for monthsaries which my ex enjoyed so much. It
was always a BIG surprise each month thru handmade cards or a cook-off in
our kitchen lols... it's just how I am with the one I love

Monthsaries are somehow relevant to me when you're in a relationship because it’s another month you’ve been with the only person that you currently care the most about; you wouldn’t know how long you’re going to be together, right? Unlike married couples, they've already decided to spend forever together. So what's the use of monthsaries?

So for me it’s like another 30 days of kissing that one person, another 30 days of holding that one person, another 30 days of belonging to that one person, it’s another 30 days of all the little things that mattered to you in that relationship with that one person. It all makes sense when you truly love someone.
