the word bible is not found in the bible either..Lol we as Christians believed that God is 1 in 3 persons 'cause of supporting verses.thus, the term trinity kicked in BUT it is not found in the bible either.
the term purgatory is of the same concept.

If there's no hell then why does the bible talk about it?
Jesus said whoever believes in Him will not perish but will have eternal life...
the word believes techinically speaks about a choice..is it just between heaven and purgatory?
how about the second clue word which is perish...does a soul perish in purgatory...in fact in the catholic faith it is where a soul is cleansed before facing God..therefore, a soul will not perish in purgatory..in fact it is like a second chance after missing the first one, which is our earthly life..
so what did Jesus mean about "will not Perish"?
